Autumn is trade fair time. Minimax is currently presented at three leading international fairs: at HUSUM WindEnergy in September, the company unveiled its latest protection concepts for wind energy plants. The new Minifog marine XP high-pressure water mist extinguishing system will be introduced at the SMM trade fair in Hamburg, whilst the Security trade fair in Essen will be presented with Minimax’s fire protection highlights from 2008.

The new Minimax Minifog marine XP high-pressure water mist extinguishing system achieves an optimal all-around protection and a maximum level of operating safety previously unknown on ships: the efficient extinguishing system meets all present and future applicable IMO regulations, and can be deployed in all areas – whether cabins, corridors or the engine room. With just one single sprinkler, it has an area coverage of up to 32 square metres.

The UniVario industrial fire detectors have been nominated for the GIT SAFETY AWARD 2009, organised by GIT publishing house. The expert jury chose ten products from a huge number of fire protection ranges that were put forward for their consideration.
