Minimax business year 2007:
Best result for the seventh year in a row

The company's registered office in Bad Oldesloe

The Minimax Group once again grew substantially in 2007: the international fire protection company generated around 700 million euros in sales. Incoming orders even increased by 42 per cent to 721 million euros.

"We are particularly pleased with the profit development" said CEO Klaus Hofmann. Profits before interest and taxes grew almost 50 per cent over the preceding year. Minimax has consequently achieved the best annual returns in the company's history for the seventh year in a row.

All of the branches in the Minimax Group contributed to the success. "The businesses in Europe, Asia and the USA have significantly surpassed the target values" according to Hofmann. Moreover, the new subsidiary company, Consolidated Fire Protection (CFP), shares in the extraordinary result. The company that was acquired in November 2007, with its head office in Irvine, California, is one of the leading service providers of the North American fire protection industry.

Minimax once again anticipates noticeable increases in sales and returns for the year 2008. "The first quarter has confirmed this assessment", Hofmann said.
