Things are heating up:
New fire research centre for mobile extinguishing exercises
The 2,500 square metre fire research centre has emerged amid the idyllic Swabian Alb in Münsingen, around 14 kilometres from the Minimax Mobile Services head office in Bad Urach.

The spacious premises were converted into a fire research centre in accordance with special legal requirements. This investment serves to optimise our training measures. The practical parts of the comprehensive seminars, e.g. extinguishing demonstrations and extinguishing exercises, are henceforth being held live at the new fire research centre. Discovery events – new to the fire protection academy’s offer – means that Minimax has now designed a fire and extinguishing programme tailor-made to customer requests.
Now things are getting red hot: Whether it is automobiles or piles of wood that are set afire, demonstrations of metal blazes or grease explosions or even extinguishing a burning person – naturally using a dummy – all these scenarios and much more are made possible through the excellent and above all environmentally – friendly fire research centre.
In addition, Minimax is using the fire research centre for its own research and development purposes – primarily for fire extinguishers.
