Environmental protection in Austria:
Award for subsidiary company

Since the end of 2007, Minimax-Österreichische Feuerschutz-Ges. m. b. H., a member of the Minimax Group, has been run in accordance with the occupational safety and environmental certifications SCC**:2007 and ISO 14001:2004. Following a 2-day certification audit in November 2007, TÜV Austria announced the successful and faultless attainment of the certifications. Minimax was distinguished by the city of Vienna for its commitment to environmental protection: in late February 2008, the company was awarded the Viennese 2008 Environmental Award at a gala event at Vienna City Hall.

Companies receiving international environmental certification ISO 14001:2004 include those that establish an operational environmental policy, environmental aims and an environmental programme, as well as set up a corresponding management system to assist in achieving these aims. SCC** is a certification standard for preventative occupational safety that takes health and environmental aspects into consideration.

With the SCC**:2007 and ISO 14001:2004 certifications, Minimax Austria offers the greatest possible security to its customers, who want to be able to rely on their service provider’s impeccable adherence to preventative occupational and environmental protection requirements. This shows that the topics of environment and quality are being actively addressed here.
